This gorgeous couple had a mini session downtown on a freezing day in Savannah. The sun was out but we could barely feel it! They just wanted a few images downtown to celebrate a one year Anniversary. They are just adorable & every serious image ended with them in fits of laughter.
She knew exactly what she wanted out of her photo session - Romantic Images! She wanted the images to look romantic and intimate. Loved her vision! Lots of collaboration on this session. She didn't just want static images, but wanted them engaged with each other.
These two lovebirds wanted to celebrate their 5th Anniversary with a photography session. Downtown Savannah & Factor's Walk are perfect to photograph at. We caught the sunset on Tybee & had a great time there. They'd honeymooned on Tybee! What a cool way to look back on their honeymoon! Now, they want to move here! Who wouldn't?! Historic Downtown, beautiful beach!
Beautiful day to photograph a Wedding! The Bride wanted both parent to walk her down the aisle, both parents gave her away & both parents did a reading. Sister served as Bridesmaid & cried as a summer rain misted around us. Lafayette Square was amazing. Loved their sense of style & those awesome bow ties!

]]>This was such a beautiful wedding ceremony at Pulaski Square! Hard to believe the downpour that occurred 20 minutes before the ceremony, soaking the chairs & looking like it would ruin the day. The sun came out & the day was beautiful! The sand ceremony was a moving blending of families - from "her's" & "his" to "ours". Congratulations!
I love to photograph surprise proposals. We worked so hard to make his lovely girlfriend not be suspicious. For their anniversary he purchased her a photo session - she was dressed up & ready for the session. Little did she know or suspect the surprise he'd cooked up. Her nephew wore a special t-shirt for the occasion (scroll down to see it!) and he proposed at a special location while her family watched from a nearby car! So thoughtful!

Newborns can be very particular about being photographed! This little boy was adorable & sleepy & wonderful. I changed a little bit of my style to reflect a more natural lifestyle look with these photographs. Just a couple and their newborn baby boy. No fussy set ups. I loved his blue owl theme in the nursery!

The day before they were to get married on Tybee, they wanted to do a fun family session celebrating their upcoming union. We chose Forsyth Park & let the kids run around. We also got a few engagement style shots of the couple. Congratulations on your new family unit!

Visit Tybee hired me to photograph the Tybee Island Pirate Fest. It's an enormously popular festival that spans a weekend of fun, music, a parade and pirates! Lots and lots of pirates!
One of the advantages of a second wedding? Your children get to witness your happiness. Your son can walk you down the aisle. Your daughters are your bridesmaids & dance at your reception. Truly a fun celebration. Reception at Brockington Hall & Cupcake Tower by Gigi's cupcakes.

The weather has been crazy this summer – massive amounts of rain which is good for plants, bad for beach photo sessions. It stormed right before this High School Senior’s session & fearing more rain, I thought it would be best to reschedule. She wanted to give it a try & I’m really glad we did. I wanted to give her several different locations for her photo shoot & she was fearless! Walk through that crab-filled muddy marsh & smile, I told her. Sure! Sit on that wet staircase. Sure! Walk in your jeans through the water. Sure! She was up for anything. At ease & happy in front of the camera. And then the sun came blaring out when we went to the beach. Yay! Perfect timing. Even got a shot of her & her childhood friend. Best of luck on your senior year Miss H!
Beyond the absolutely perfect sunset for this session, I had the great achievement of photographing a very shy girl having fun! Trust me that is a huge achievement! What a beautiful girl & beautiful family.
Congratulations to Rey & Val! They pulled off this amazing wedding in a very short amount of time. Rey called me weeks (!) before the wedding. Low-key wonderful couple. I photographed this beautiful Tybee wedding on the HOTTEST day ever! I’m now rethinking the black capris I shoot in at beach weddings…They braved the heat for the post ceremony shoot (thank god for the custom water bottles they brought!) Coastal Creative did a great job with flowers, colors, etc!
Perfect sunset & beautiful weather for this gorgeous family. One of the pictures from the session made it to the cover of the Tybee Island Visitor’s Guide! So if you ever see the brochure & wondered how the shot was made - it was simply a shot from one of my sunset photography sessions. They are real siblings & were just having fun with their family on the beach while I photographed them. Also, I loved the grandparent’s interactions! Great family. Makes me happy to work here!
Had a super fun QUICK photo session with Jeff Beasley’s band. They actually posed for this photograph after a gig. They had played all day. There was not a lot of posing them. They got into position swiftly. I was very impressed. Jeff knew what he wanted. Congrats on the new album. Check it out! I was so proud to see my image as the cover. I loved the processing the graphic designer did.
Had a great time photographing this family from Atlanta. They came down to Tybee Island & we had the beach to ourselves! It was early in the season & slightly chilly – but the girls ran around & had fun. I should have just let them do that the whole session. It was special to see how much the sisters love each other & how close they are. I also got to witness & photograph their special family kiss – the nose rub. Lots of those during this session.
Delighted to celebrate this couple's anniversary by photographing them during their weekend getaway! What a romantic couple! I shot them around Savannah (and then it crazy rained on us), so we shot inside their quaint B&B. How awesome is that? They wanted very romantic shots and being inside the B&B allowed them to be more intimate. They topped the evening off with a cozy, romantic dinner in the wine cellar of the Olde Pink House. Still in love after years together.
I get to photograph a lot of engagement sessions & invariably couples are very lovey dovey. The love is new & fresh, they’re hopeful & planning a dream day. Keeping it fresh is hard after years of marriage! I was honored to photograph this couple on their 10 year anniversary. They were just like an engaged couple! David clearly adores his wife. I let them just walk & he would just stare at her with love in his eyes. He still makes her laugh & blush. We had a great sunset for this photo session – a loving couple & a great sunset…what more could a photographer ask for?
Adorable family with 2 girls & a little boy. The girls were such great big sisters. This little boy is adored! They’re so proud to be big sisters. It was exciting to watch them all together & their obvious love for each other. It rained at the onset of the photo shoot & I didn’t even notice I capture the rainbow til I was editing the session. It’s faint in the picture, but it’s there! We had rain & fun & a great sunset!
One of the first sessions of the season (so i’m a little behind on posting!) There was still a slight chill in the air, but we had the beach to ourselves! The little girl broke free every chance & chased birds. Everyone matched Dad’s Harley t-shirt, which is a first for me & I loved that he was totally true to himself. As an artist, Karen had a great vision for how she wanted me to photograph her with her son - in their neighborhood, just being themselves. I photographed them as they took their usual walk to their favorite spot, the local playground. We had a great afternoon.
​Lovely honor to photograph these New Yorkers as they got married In Savannah Ga at Forsyth Park. They love Savannah and this was their first choice for a destination Wedding. He's a police officer - so having a picture with police tape was pure romance! Don't let that tough exterior fool you - this guy is all heart & cracked me up!

Love shooting a Christmas Wedding! Morgan & Jamey got married at Forsyth Park Inn. It was an intimate occasion. And the bonus part of the rain? It was sprinkling & we used a nice black umbrella & Forsyth Park was empty! Barely a person there!
File this under great gifts to yourself - as her 2 nieces were embarking on new phases to their lives, their aunt treated herself to a photo session with them. They all laughed and had a great time (even though it was crazy windy!) and celebrated the ending of an era and the beginning of a new one.
Newborns can be tricky to photograph! Even though they sleep most of the time, as soon as you try to photograph them, they seem to wake up. This little boy was no exception! He was very suspicious of me and kept one eye open most of the time. I caught him mid yawn though - he finally gave up!
